A passionate, highly experienced Outdoor Education practitioner and adventure guide with over 30 years of international outdoor industry experience. Kris began his career in the UK, and graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Outdoor and Environmental Education from Liverpool John Moores University.
In 2002, he moved to Kenya as the head river guide at Savage Wilderness, Kenya’s first whitewater rafting company, during which time he set up the first kayak school in Kenya, established UK standard outdoor education practices, and gave many Kenyan’s, and guests from across the world a taste of adventure. He has undertaken several first descents of previously unpaddled rivers over his 20+ years of adventuring in East Africa.
Kris continues to lead a diverse range of people, ranging from young children to UK special forces, and just about everyone in between.
He also consults for major media productions, has developed youth programs for rural Kenyan communities, and has held leadership roles, including managing Kenya’s first UK-standard Aqua Park; launching the country’s first Tough Mudder-style course, and relief camp management for one of Kenya’s leading luxury safari camp operators.
After founding Infinity Outdoors in 2014, Kris continues to create impactful, and tailored outdoor experiences for everyone.
He remains committed to challenge, educate, and inspire people through meaningful adventures outdoors.
